The painting is accompanied by the opinion of Dr. Francesca Dini of Florence. At the bottom of the frame written in ink 'I am convinced it is a very interesting work by Giovanni Fattori from 1880, Odoardo Giglioli Hillyer Director RR. Gallerie di Firenze'.
