Vincenzo San Malato

(Catania, 1882 - Genova, 1945)

The Sicilian painter trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples under the guidance of Morelli and Cammarano. He was a skilled portraitist, although he did not disdain the depiction of landscapes. He participated in important National Exhibitions and achieved considerable success with his Personal Exhibition in 1942 at the prestigious Galleria Rotta in Genoa.
