work of the Neapolitan artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, specializing in the technique of tempera and oil painting and in the creation of watercolor parchments. In Athens for about two years, then in Bari, where he achieved some success as a portraitist, then again in Naples and finally in Rome in 1883 where he exhibited at the National Exhibition. Among his most interesting works we remember "Christ", "Chestnuts under the embers" and "After a half liter", exhibited in Florence in 1883 at the Promotrice. Frame in gilded wood, 105 x 64 cm.
