Ceramiche Le Bertetti was founded by Clelia Bertetti in 1932, after leaving her job at the "Lenci" Ceramics Manufacture, which lasted about 5 years and which also sees her head of the retouching department. At the opening of the artistic ceramics laboratory, Le Bertetti was assisted by Piero Ducato. The manufacture, whose first brand is the letters LeB, is dedicated to the mass production of objects of good quality and remarkable grace, in earthenware and terracotta, often made by casting, very close to the taste of "Lenci". An interesting number of good one-of-a-kind pieces also come out of the workshops, often made by Clelia Bertetti herself. In 1942 Clelia Bertetti abandons the artistic direction of the manufacture, which is sold to third parties who will continue the production, under the same name, until 1952. The works of the manufacture often have a production number and the ceramics whose number is less than 100 they are generally attributable to the founder of the company, as for the sculpture in question which bears the production number 77. The back of the sculpture has a slight lack of paint and color, cm 25 x 52 h.
